Epoxy resin is a kind of high-molecular polymer with the molecular formula (C11H12O3)n, which refers to the general term for a class of polymers containing two or more epoxy groups in their molecules. It is the condensation polymerization product of epichlorohydrin with bisphenol A or polyols. Due to the chemical reactivity of the epoxy group, it can be opened by various compounds containing active hydrogen, cured and cross-linked to form a network structure. Therefore, it is a thermosetting resin.
